WellspringLIVING

Sunshine Coast, North Lakes to Noosa

Support that helps the week actually work.

Wellspring Living works alongside adults who live independently. We sit down with you, find what keeps going wrong in an ordinary week, and build something that holds. Plans you will use. Skills you keep.

For NDIS participants whose plans are self managed or plan managed.

Supports

What we do

Three supports, delivered by Anthea, one to one, in your home or wherever suits you.

Mentoring and life transition planning

For the bigger shifts. Moving house, leaving a job, living on your own for the first time, or working out what comes next. We plan it in steps that make sense to you.

Daily planning, decisions and budgeting

The ordinary week, made manageable. Calendars and reminders that you can actually follow, a way through decisions that feel stuck, and a household budget that survives contact with real life.

Skill development and everyday technology

Learning the thing, not having it done for you. Phones, email, online shopping and banking, appointments, and the small pieces of technology that give back hours.

From 2027: household tasks and help getting out into the community, delivered by a small, trained team.

The approach

How it works

  1. 1

    A conversation first

No cost, no pressure. You tell us what a hard week looks like. We tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

  2. 2

We work out the sticking points

The first couple of sessions are about noticing where the week falls apart, and picking one thing worth fixing.

  3. 3

    We build it together

You drive, we sit beside you. Every session ends with something you can point at and use again on your own.

  4. 4

    We step back

The aim is not to be needed forever. As things hold on their own, we ease off, and your coordinator gets written updates the whole way through.

Who we work with

Adults living in their own homes across the Sunshine Coast, including people living with psychosocial disability, acquired brain injury, MS, physical disability, and autistic adults. Older participants are welcome. Support is calm, practical and led by you.

What we do not do

We say this up front so nobody wastes time:

  • No personal care, showering or toileting
  • No manual handling or transfers
  • No high intensity supports
  • No overnight or supported independent living

About Anthea

Wellspring Living is run by Anthea Read, who has spent years working one to one with people on health and daily habits, and has completed health coach training through PREKURE. She lives at Nirimba on the Sunshine Coast with her family.

Her way of working is simple. Never do the task for someone when you can do it beside them, and never end a session without something the person can hold onto.

An external set of hands for the part of life that keeps slipping.
